I have a thing thing called Teamspeak. It's basically skype but much better. You download a program called teamspeak, then you connect to my server. You can then speak using your voice to other people.
I have a server that is up and running at the moment and was wondering if any of you would like to join for a good old natter?
You would need a microphone of course. It can only hold 10 people max at the moment, but if it gets popular I might upgrade soon!
Post your replies here, and I might add how to get onto it if enough people like the idea.

good idea
unfortunately for me teamspeak wouldn't be good as im silent 90% of the time, usually just talk to mates on xbox (those who ive played with for a while) and family.
prefer typing but others may prefer speech.
on the downside i don't know if you can control different languages as for instance Seb/Dest/Torres may talk German, Sniper may talk American, Baff on snooker may talk French etc.
is there a way to type/talk in your own language and shows to others in their preferred language?
so if for instance Seb said: Hallo, wie geht es dir? for me it should appear as Hello how are you?, if i wrote I am fine thankyou for Seb it should appear as Mir geht es gut danke.

There is a way to type to talk yeah, there are also private messages too. But as for the translation, I don't think that there is anything like that on there. I'll have a look around for some plugins and see what there is

I've set it up on my home server if you want to join it
Should have about 99.9% uptime!
You can download teamspeak from here: http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads then choose the appropriate dowload for yourself.
Once you're on, connect to this IP - 31.193.9.105 with your funkypool username.
