Can you please make it so sinking multiple balls in straight pool doesn't result in a loss of turn? Multiple balls do not count as a foul by the actual rules of straight pool. I assume the game does it to discourage people just banging the balls around, but it is annoying when you pot 2 balls accidentally. If nothing else maybe make it an option somehow to allow multiple pots or not, or maybe make the extra balls not count as points, and let the player keep shooting.

Thing is it's easily avoidable if you actually analyse each of your own shots. Generally when a double pot occurs it's when A. someone is smashing the pack or B. too lazy to work out where the balls are going to go lol

Yeah well, sometimes stuff happens, maybe you try to work out where the ball is going to go and you hit it a little off, and make your object ball, but sink another you weren't planning on. Heck I was watching a match online the other day and Steve Davis potted 2 balls on purpose, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me :)

Correct, thats snooker in the real world bud
However at the end of the day it's a completely avoidable thing and settles on your own bad play if it's a double pot Obviously i'm still going to complain massively when i double pot, but only because i know it's my own fault

yeah as much as i hate that rule it stops the damien's of the world getting 1000 runs
stops fluking too.
in real straight do you have to call each pocket? never watched it but that would stop fluking even more

But only for your chosen object ball - any other ball can drop in any pocket as part of the same shot, as long as your object ball goes in the called pocket as well.

I say keep it as it is? its quite possible to get the high runs and we all know it. The double pot is annoying but also needed i think aswel.

Don't change it, it gives us something to moan about when we mess up on 29 and 99 runs lol. We're English we enjoy a good moan!
