I was online yesterday all was fine, come on today and it says I haven't got Java or it is disabled. I then went on to my add ons to make sure it was enabled and it wasn't, however it wouldn't let me re enable it.

So I clicked on more information and got the following page...

Seems strange that moxilla have blocked it...

Oh well back to IE until this gets resolved, was just letting people know what it was if they were getting the same problem.

tried reinstalling java mate? and to enable it did you go to Control Panel > Java?

Yeah tried that way through control panel, gonna try re installing now was just wondering if anyone had a problem and if so this may be the problem.

I've got exactly the same problem on snooker m8, I'm on firefox as well

I went to my control panel, uninstalled Java, went and re downloaded it. It works for me now so hopefully that helps.

I've uninstalled java as well but it isn't letting me reinstall it again, everytime i click on start free download it just keeps coming up save file then nothing happens, what am i doing wrong?

Edit: Sorted. It let me intsall it again through internet explorer but wouldn't work through firefox, weird!

google chrome gets pretty bugged though, i have got white screened a few times on that

Ive used chrome since it came out as an ex , Never had a problem with it the only thing i had a problem with at the start was facebook, the chat on it was real dodgy :/ but then again the amount that facebook goes under maintenance it could have been that

i would use chrome but fact is you need the newest java and even then i got 50% lag on each shot, since going to java 23 i had to move to IE but its lagging a lot less since i changed

i tend to use IE for playing and chrome for browsing (when it doesn't keep coming up with "page is not responding, kill or wait")

whenever i install a previous version i get "Install Plugin" on chrome where IE is fine.

Yup I've had the same problem, had to reinstall java to fix it (after the last update).

i sometimes have this, for me it is when i try to open game to soon after starting firefox, try closing firefox then re-openning and waiting for up to 2 minutes, if that doesnt work then as dgen said try reinstalling

polar_bear, If you are using previous Java versions, then you may already have the answer. It seems Mozilla are cracking down on allowing users to enable outdated versions of Java for security reasons.

Simply update your Java to the most recent.

If this isn't the case then please try this:

1 Go to control panel
2 Add remove programs
3 Remove all the java versions you see (there may be more than one).
4 Clear browser histories including downloaded program files.
5 Reboot (even if you're not told to)
6 Then visit http://www.java.com for a new, clean, install.

Had already sorted it. I did say up there somewhere. ^^

Wasn't using outdated software (as I only updated a few hours previous, just after I last used Java) so I am guessing the update I downloaded was corrupt in some way.

However I uninstalled and re installed it and it works now.

BTW google chrome makes you lag!

haha sorry tyo al you usesers complaining about lag, hahaha.

Also msn, facebook and youtube are bad causes of lag :P
