Just in UK tourney logged me out after just breaking in the first frame with my connection totally fine on the rest of the planet but in funkyworld failing. It didn't just give her the win it gave her a 7 balling in the first frame then another one afterwards for me leaving the tournament room?!

Remember, if the other player was still connected, as clearly they were, then whats to stop them 7 balling you?

Also, remember, unless EVERYONE, that's every single player, is disconnected at exactly the same time, it simply can not be a server issue. Just stop and think about it logically, its impossible.

People also seem to forget the type of constant connection needed when in tournaments is obviously different from normal games, not to mention entirely different to chat systems, streaming video, file downloads etc.

No, that looks alright to me; if he got 7-balled, then the game was over in a very small number of shots. "logged me out after just breaking in the first frame": that's the break shot, plus samantha's 7 shots plus the black = 9 shots at most.

You broke, you left due to connection, opponent has carry on after opponent enabled in setting to get the 7balling, and the 2nd frame is a forefit.

You must get fed up of explaining this....It just doesn't seem to sink in with some people.

Buy a decent router and that should do the trick, these free ones are forever losing connection!

I think i a possible solution when your(not server) connection goes down:

right click on the wireless icon on the task bar and hit "repair". I have tried it before an it works. I know that if i dont establish a connection then it is the webite...i never get disconnected from the server now unless it is the server itself

Samantha herself said she won the tournament because the top 3 people lost connection at the same time.
As I said absolutely nothing wrong with my connection at all otherwise would lose connection with other sites once in a blue moon maybe fuunky you self appointed genius?!
Can't see how it is possible within the time frame for me to still be in the room to leave a 2nd game when I got disconnected after breaking in the first and can't see me starting a game, breaking and having the 20 seconds for my next shot before a random then getting 7 balled in the remaining 30 seconds...come off it lol

Remaining 30 seconds? Not sure how you came to that number as you get 90 seconds for your connection to re-establish its self.

There is possibly 2 reasons why you lost both frames. Firstly she cleared the rack with a 7 balling, and on her side the 2nd frame already started because it was her break and didn't require you to take a shot or hit a break or anything as it automatically starts the next frame.

Secondly, which is more of a question as I'm not sure how it works. When you leave a first to 2 in the first frame, does it automatically give all the frames to your opponent and not just that one that was started? Because if it does, then that is what happened I presume.

If you get disconnected in the first frame, I thought you wouldn't forfeit the second - because you've already forfeited the first (whether the opponent clears or not, you'll lose it)

Exactly, you can see from the scores on my results page printed above I apparently won the first round then within a minute accepted an invite, broke, had the 20 seconds for a shot, took a random and she cleared within the remaining 20 or 30 seconds...not happening.

Considering the game times are rounded to the nearest minute it could have been up to a 2 min game in theory.

It's far fetched to say the least but it bugged me for about 10 minutes then I got over it.
