I just played a game where my opponent left the game just before i was about to break off i then broke off and potted which is a foul obviously but then on my stats it said turn success 0 out of 1, but i never had a chance of success on that shot doesn't make sense?

i always believe that you should be able to pot from the break regardless of whether you can in the real game is irrelevant as there are some rules implemented on here to suit this site which isn't in the real games.

yes this totally bugs me, where in your stats you have a shot % for straight, but because of the rule you have no possible way to score 100% if you are chosen to break off. its crazy.

As you fouled you don't actually know that it would have counted as a turn if you hadn't potted, they might have thought of that already.

He worded it wrong, tinie said he potted a ball which was a foul, when it isn't. It's an invalid shot.

I asked this same question about a year back, but after 40,000 shots it makes little difference in the big scheme of things.

Just leave the game without taking your shot, shouldnt count on your success % then?

I just watched a straight pool video and they had an outline of a triangle where the balls get racked just wondering if that could be added?

Good idea, gives you a rough idea where they will go. Could be a light outline on table so doesn't distract you too much.

this triangle could be the difference between damien getting 150+ and 100's for that reason ill say i disagree with the idea

This will be fixed next patch - the break shot will not count towards statistics under any condition (nothing potted, ball potted, or foul).
