Right, was just in a game, was on a 96 run then my internet disconnected and I timed out. Clearly I had already won the game from passing 35, yet it should got given as a loss to me.

To be honest, once you reach the 35, even if you disconnect, you should be rewarded with the win.

due to you currently continuing the run the frame is still active i do believe, however it would make more sense like that as like you said the game was already won & i'm sure you got the 96 break added to your profile as well.

While you achieve a legal pot you remain in play, continuing until you miss, pocket more than one ball, or foul. Thus overall winning the frame.

It does seem very harsh to be penalised by internet disconnection!

We can't have it both ways if we're disabling the automatic win to allow us to carry on with runs then this can happen, it's just bad luck. 96 too must have been gutted!

it wasn't in a tournament though, so no time limit except the shot clock.

regarding tournaments, i think if you get past 35 you should go through regardless of what happens afterwards whether its a timeout/disconnection etc as when you get to 35 you have the mindset that you have won so you can relax and if this sort of thing happens then you feel robbed if you know what i mean.

so at the point of time out/disconnection i feel you should get the run you was on at the time it went into not responding/time out mode then you can play knowing you can win.

Thing is though James the system must save and transfer data and it can't do it every shot. Connection failing and server issues always annoy but credit where it is due it's definitely getting a lot more reliable site.

not saying that the site is poor quality, at one time you couldn't stay on it 5 minutes now you can stop on it for quite a while.

just saying if you get past the "win barrier" you should be awarded the win no matter what happens after.
