Was involved in a road traffic accident on tuesday morning ( not my fault) , other party totally to blame. ( no big drama , these thing happen , nobody was hurt , so thats the main thing)

The thing that really hacks me off is i have been constantly asked if i have suffered from whiplash , headaches , neck pain etc from the insurance company , they are obviously dying for me to claim so they can also make more ££££ for themselves. I have been told i could get up to 2 - 3 grand but , i am not that way inclined and have no intention of claiming to be hurt when i am clearly not. IMO this is what is wrong with our society , claim claim claim for anything....JOKE imo. I ran this by a friend of mine and he said well, 1 guy aint going to change the world so just claim but at least i can sleep at night knowing i have done the honest thing.

Did the same myself fell off a ladder on a big site carrying buckets of sand and cement up to a lift that should have by law had a loading bay and the stuff sent up to us by fork lift.
Company was just trying to save money by not putting one in, they accepted full responsibilty straight away and a few of the other lads said they would have cried off with a bad back but I was fine, had one day off with a jarred knee where i had caught it on a scaffold pole on the way down and was straight back on site.
The compensation money that gets paid out in most cases filters down to the tax payer somehow anyway in my opinion.
