semi finals of 9 ball tourny, was in with a great chance of winning it then BAM game screen turns white. Nothing i could do but log out. Any ideas of what this could be to preventing hapening again?

wont stop it permanently though.

trust me i know how you feel, i had it 5 times a day at one point.

when its that bad there isnt much you can do, maybe a new browser?

im assuming your using chrome as its only browser i know with a "white screen".

try firefox/IE see if its any better.

also try the java method.

I'd recommend firefox over IE mate never have any problems

it's fine for me on IE firefox and chrome, it's to do with the memory chip/gaming chip in the computer, after a certain amount of time they become weaker and can't handle being used as much, got told this before by a pc wiz, if this is true however, i do not know - but i can only advise you to change the internet browser you use or buy a new gaming chip.

gaming chip is a pointless idea, but i have now reverted back to firefox

I got it today, was in the straight pool speed tournament potted one of the balls to get to 35 and clearly won the match then screen turns white end up losing the match.

chrome is known to white screen often (or when i used it anyway).

I have been on Chrome for 2 years I think, not once have I had this black/white screen.

I had a white screen once and that was on Firefox, which is what made me change and it's been perfect ever since.

The Java method should be the first port of call whenever these kind of problems arise due to the fact it is happening to a Java window!
