I came on the site about 5-6 years ago and the chat rooms was full all the time and everyone was trying to beat _onua_ in pool lol, what im saying is now everyones happy because there is so many ways to win, an whats with torny points ?? why carnt it just be if you win the torny its notified on your profile, you've gone and done what i call OVER DESIGNING, Make it simple and hundreds will return ;)

to be honest i think he is talking completely sense because im not such a fan of this site and its no where near as good as it was when you could talk and play without losers that just try to start arguements

lol i used to live for this site, an nw its kinda borin, its the best pool layout ive played (dnt change that) but just take a few tornys away change the points system where its harder to get to the top, put it back to near enothe how it was :D

put it back to the clubs best.. when it was all simple

Back in the days Raiden, lambert, squeezy, and some others were the ones to beat. i don't think _onua_ was playing that long ago. any how i do agree that the tournament points is a wreck. i believe we should go back to the old and reinvent. however even if nick changed things back it wouldn't bring back that many players as most of the players that play are kids and they are into the "high-tech" consoles like xbox ps3 etc.

30,000....currently 47 online , its peaked at 400 for me as there was an announcement, might be 30,000 members but im not sure they play

Grr Always on the offensive, Since i started comming back on, The chat room has never been full, How many here knows the chatroom can or used to hold 50 users?
And the reason why i left all them years ago was because of a simple problem, LOST internet service ! And ouch I do remember Squeezy hes one of the oldest players on here an _onua_ was playing around that time aswel also i have a ps3 my self and i still come on here because its the best pool game av played its just the points system an way to many tornys ( It took me 2-3 years just to win 1 torny back then, it was hard ) aint even been signed on 1 month an won one lol which am happy about but its nt like ive really earned it

I agree, tournaments should be brought down to a lower number. This will increase entrants in tournaments making it harder/and or funner. About the chat room sitaution, yes I remember when it used to be full and would struggle to get into it as it was always at (50)!

I still think the site is great, but if somehow, the number of users like the olden days could be increased to today it would make it alot better. This would be extremely difficult though, it would be interesting to see why the numbers have decreased so much.

I like the tourney points, will like them even more when Nick changes it to take into account the number of frames too so normal tournaments and marathons will be more popular again.
The amount of tournaments was to take into account that some of us just won't play arcade so for me the amount of tournaments hasn't changed only now the ones I want to play clash a lot more so I actually play less.
Tournaments are still really challenging you always have some of the top players in them.

I believe the only way to get more players on here is to make it a gambling site. i think it would be a good idea if there were surveys you could do to make some kind of (coin) to gamble with and spend it on prizes or something like that lol

Then all under 18 members on the site would not be allowed to play. Funkypool is for a wide variety of age groups, families ETC. Therefore can't be changed to a 'gambling' site.

AHHH !! torny points, what about a way were u can use the torny points to buy like new cues new table layouts, even profile skins so people will be able to show how good they are in a sense but dnt make the items cheap and easy to get hold of, then a few more players will come

I agree that the site was a whole lot better years ago...winning a tournament was a great achievement because a) they were only hourly at best and b) there were far more people in them and thus more competitive and difficult to win. Now even the most average of players can win a tourny since there's one every 30 seconds or something .

I could list at least 30 people who have left in recent times because they are fed up with the way the site has gone, but I guess Nick's trying to attract new users so he's doing what he feels is right. I'd love to go back quite a few years on here just for a day though and abuse all the people I used to speak to back then for that day
