There's one that says:

'Congratulations! Your IP has been selected in Unknown!'

It's this type of advertisement that kills loads of computers and there are many obvious adverts that are being shown on this website!

To be honest this is really starting to annoy me because sometimes they slow my laptop down a lot!

This needs to be sorted out quickly!

There are quite a few of these kind of ad's on funkypool. I've seen about 3 different ones, all saying my IP has been selected, or i'm the Xth visiter etc.

EDIT: Like the one I have displayed right now;

"You are user number 10000!" You have 15..14..13 seconds left to click the button to see your prize!" Then the time runs out, and resets. Haha

I know, that's the type of ad I'm on about, starting to bug me now, for the sake of others comps! Not just mine!

It is entirely up to each user whether they fall for obvious advertising ploys or not.

However if there is an advert causing lag due to excessive animation etc, let us know and we can see about having it removed.

Honestly didn't know that one...well obviously or I wouldn't have dropped myself in it lol have to work out how to unblock it now grrrrr!!

They are slowing my laptop down aswell. There has been a few times when I've been unable to shoot. Only happens when certain adverts appear though.

Its been like this for a long time and isn't going to change !!

Only choice you have is to buy premium im afraid , the small amount paid for premium is well worth it IMO .

last time i had premium i still had some lag and don't want to pay to play, i know its only £10 but if i wanted to pay for premium i would have done it long ago.

and as i posted on snooker what about all the underage people on the site where parents refuse?

they got to look at dating ads and those ip ones where its sure to cause a virus.

animated ads is ok but cause touch of lag which i can cope with, i don't mind ads in general but when you see stuff like dating and ip ones it makes you think.

i know i could complete free offers but...

A) more than likely put you in debt (expect facebook ones)

B) I don't know how long it lasts on free version.
