My understanding is that there are no rules against playing snookers in straight or in killer.
Very disappointing that these tables have a lot of offensive individuals who need to grow up.
Accusing players of cheating because of good tactical shots is not really acceptable.
Comments recieved today from players I have beaten have included 'I hope you get cancer' (this one came from <removed>). 'Up yours' of, course is a very common, intelligent comment.
So finally, just grow up.

Fair enough.
Although, these types of comments have been reported on numerous occasions. Offending players still play these tables.
So, pretty pointless having a system that allows this sort of behaviour to continue.
Pity.

No naming and shaming of players, please. As pro_frog says, there is a facility to report players who infringe the rules.
There are no rules against snookering an opponent, or against deliberately not potting a ball, even though potting balls is the core thing in straight pool and killer. Indeed, safety play is sometimes vital in straight, as it might allow you to make another run straight away after your return to the table. And I've used the tactic in killer before of deliberately leaving the white safe, and was told by my opponent that I was right to do so. But of course it comes with a risk, especially if you have just 2 lives when you try it. If he/she flukes a pot, you're both down to 1 life.
But refusing to pot is not cheating. You're exposing yourself to defeat, but you're doing what you think will leave in a tactically better position to win by leaving your opponent with no pot.
No further discussion is needed, and remember that naming and shaming is not allowed. Capped.
