i think it would be a great idea to have some tournaments in the day that ony certain ranks can enter, for example, adept only as it would give others a fair chance of winning a tournament. i know it shows skill to win but i want feedback maybe from mods too!!

Don't see the worth because there's a big difference between a 700 ranked player and 799 ranked why should a 699 or 800 ranked player be excluded?
Rankings jump so much when you're playing tournaments anyway i'm always bouncing between adept and pro at UK and I think people would just lose their pro in the pro tourney, win the adept would still be the same people winning.
Micros are a good bridge because they're only one frame as well lot easier to beat a top player and less likely to play one.

Yeah could be and there is a thread where it's been suggested. I reckon though that when you win enough micros you get to the stage where you can compete in the main tourneys anyway.

The concept of the idea is good, however, like suggested the tournament wins on profile wouldnt be a clear cut as someone 800 has 3 tourny wins, another, rank 699 has 20. There would be no difference unless if stats page was edited

true but thats were the editing would come into it. like tourna points, day wins month etc

if your not a mod/admin it isn't unless you say it out loud, also serial resetters.

Plus they don't have the time to check every new successful accounts. Not to mention I've had an account before but I either forgot the password or it got removed for inactivity.

In overall, I think I wouldn't like that addition. not to mention there's already too much stats on users' profiles.
