i know that this has been mentioned before but once again another run out has been taken away because 1 sore loser <name removed> left with only 2 balls left both over the bag!
A runout or a gb is such a respected thing, that i think its time it was implimented that the player gets to finish there break before the default is awarded,... then the cowards can still get a loss next to there names in there profile and not just a default.
rant over!

From what I see from your results, it was in a tournament?
Whilst in the game server, go to options on the far right and under the "Game" tab, tick the " Disable Automatic Tournament Win" box.
Once you have done this, the game will not finish until you are finished, regardless weather your opponent is there or not.
Also, please be sure not to name and shame on the forums.

...just be careful cause if your game doesnt end before the tornament time limit runs out then you will get disqualified

^ if the tournament time limit runs out when on a runout, would that player have the option to continue it?

Of course if you do not finish the game by the time limit then you will be disqualified but this is not the initial query.
Once you have the "Disable Automatic Tournament Win" box ticked, the game will not finish until you have finished your turn on the table.
The only ways the game will finish automatically (with this option ticked) is,
- Disconnection from the server
- Miss/Finish
- Not finished by the time limit
It's an option I am definitely thankful for.

I think it is still a flaw that has been discussed elsewhere. At the point the time expires if you are still in play you will be dq'd even though clearly you should have won at the point your opponent departs. Definitely something people need to be fully aware of.

Ty for the compliment. I havent bothered to look at your's.
No doubt its some gleeful poem about rays of sunshine and rainbows. Maybe talk of lambing sheep and new ducklings being hatched. Talk of of gatherings and friends and recollections of fun times.
If its not one of the above i'm sure its about something happy going by all your cheerful, in no way make you look like you have a chip on your shoulder, posts!

Maybe you should?
practice what you preach and all that, why bother posting stupid comments?
You've not posted in a way regarding the initial query, rather just brought it to a personal level...
Think Chris mentioned it but, could there not be a win awarded when they leave, but still have the option to carry on and even if they run out of time they get the win?

There is an option to disable automatic tourney wins when an opponent leaves, but if you fail to finish in the allotted time - then that's your own fault really
The game gives you ample warnings as to the time limit
I'm assuming this goes mostly for straight - Why do you want to further humiliate your opponent? Making him/her leave before the game was over wasn't enough of an embarrassment? A win is a win. It doesn't make it a better win and you don't get more points for beating someone 90-10 so If you're continuing until the time runs out then I believe that you're just trying to humiliate the opponent. It's your fault that time ran out. Not theirs

It's an interesting point, but it might be difficult to implement, I don't know. In any case, each player knows there is a time limit, and each player must keep an eye on this limit. If an opponent leaves, the player (if the right option is checked) has the privilege of playing on to get a high run, but he/she must make sure the run ends before he/she runs out of time.
And please keep the personal remarks off this thread. You all know the forum posting rules.

I dont have a problem with that if thats the way it needs to be from the programming point of view. However I always believe that guidance has be aimed at the lowest common denominator/user (and thats no offence to anyone on here )
If you are required to end your go before the time expires so as not to be dq'd then say that somewhere so that people can have no excuses. At present with the normal standard time warnings I am sure some players wrongly believe it does not apply to them if their opponent has already left the game.
