Personally im for it, besides dont you think that poeple can have perfect stats even today? I think it would be a good addition.

The idea of resetting stats is to start from scratch instead of deactivating.

This is brought up regularly, and it's a subject i'm against. People resetting know the consequences of this action.

The consequence being that your entire stats are removed.

right thats a good point on resetting everything,which is why we should have the option to reset individually

Why do you want to reset killer? You have only played 7 games there is still plenty of chance to turn it around.

I don't think you should be able to reset stats at all, because if you hit a good run for 3 days after resetting a years worth of stats, then your stats are then only true of your last 3 days.

Stats should represent the whole of the games played in the time you have been on the site, not just 51 games after you lost a few points.

If the likes of Destiny or Eemad were to reset just one aspect of their stats, they would be near untouchable for example if Eemad reset his straight because he was hitting a very rich vein of form...

And that would only be a reflection of his last 5 or so games not his overall games, and yes I am aware that would require him to get 60+ runs every game for 5 games.

So some people could feel cheated by a "fake newbie" although the edge modification is brought in it's still a loss and you would hate losing to a fake newbie wouldn't you?

I think you either should only be allowed to reset so many times per year so like 3 times maximum, I know people would just create new accounts but maybe the system coulp put all the accounts that have played on the same IP on the account "about me" so you know if it is a fake newbie, who it may be.

Putting the accounts on their "about me" would come under naming and shaming unfortunately, something which annoys me because it would be a really good idea, something i'd definately be for.

I personally don't believe it would be shaming to be honest.

What's wrong with everyone knowing someone's usernames? Unless of course it is a banned name then maybe that may be different.

I think everyone should know if you have a second account and what it is.

through IP shows 2nd as well as family accounts so sometimes you could be named for having a family member having an account.

Pointless, in my opinion. Sometimes after a bad day, it's natural to think about the reset, but that's stupid, anyway. Sooner or later you will want to reset it again, and you'll get in that stupid circle. Try to get up on your feet and recover the lost points...the less you've got the easier it gets to recover them.

Plus, the stats don't matter anyway. Once they're three-digits numbers on both sides, no1 will even care to look.
