I know that it ends at midnight and so on and so forth... But could it be changed to like the 11pm Tournament will be last one of the day and straight after that the winner is announced?

Sounds like a decent idea to me.

11pm is the last tournament for Day Events.

Some 11pm tournaments run over midnight.

Good idea in my opinion.

I generally agree, except of course on the occasions the 10pm tournament is a Marathon and will probably still be ongoing at the point the 11pm one finishes.

I think players ideally should be able to enter the last tournament(s) knowing what they may need to do to win a day event without worrying whether or not the midnight deadline will interfere with those plans.

I know your points won will still carry through to the next day but at that moment in time I am sure most people would be competing for the 'current' day's medal.

I recently had a great day battle with ucyforit, I was 300 points behind in the day score, with 11pm torny left to play. I played in the torny, won it at 00.32, and he won it because of it going past midnight.

A perfect example to why this thread was made............

Tournapoints (Before the 11pm tournament)

1st Player A - 1,500
2nd Player B - 1,300

Now, if the tournament at 11pm is any of the marathon or straight pool tournaments then Player A has got this one in the bag as them tournaments are more likely to run over midnight.

I would say either:

- Have the 11pm tournament based on the quicker discipline or random.
or
- Make the 11pm tournament the absolute last one of the day, regardless weather it passes over midnight or not.

I understand there is the Micro tournament, but the lesser points at such last minute may not effect as much as the normal tournaments (unless it is very close).
