There have been several unofficial competitions in the past such as world cups and that...we even had a clan world cup a while ago.

They pop up every now and again. Just keep an eye out on the Pool Events Forum

Should do it like the real life pool world cup....2 players represent each country. Some countries have 2 teams..

i.e England A, England B etc
