Hi,
Recently I've been in the middle of a tournament, and suddenly been logged out by the site. This happened again this morning when I was in the semi-final of the 8uk ranked torny, which started at 8:00am. When I managed to log back in the torny was over with the comment - winner - 'not found'.
This is most annoying, does anyone know whats causing this to happen?

I just got logged out at start of str8 tourny - 2pts to 1 and logout occured

justr happened to me in semi final i was 34 to 1 on a run of 34 and bam,
an hour of my life wasted,

this site is becoming stressful and dodgy, could also be why people arent playing as much

I think its to do with server again, but not 100% sure

in al_'s case though it must have been his connection.

don't think so dgen - everything else was working fine

as we are all aware site is currently having a few minor problems after coming back from the 2 days off or so.

As nick said he may decide to change provider but at this moment in time only fault that ties all of these in is the server issue.

i think this will stop people from playing again, its annoying and frustrating, i entered to win i spent an hour and a half playing the tournament to be messed about??

but its not always fun if your aiming for something

Just happened with the 8ball UK tournament, pintofshandy being the unlucky person, 2-0 up in the final, only 1 game away from winning their second UK tournament and then everyone gets logged off.

This needs to be sorted ASAP, because it is frustrating if it keeps happening. I've noticed several tournaments today have Not Found winners.

Hardly a minor problem unknown_id. - 5 of the last 8 tornys have failed due to connection problems. A major issue I'd say and one that could seriously damage the sites credability, hope there's a solution to this asap.

Same problems again this morning - The 8:00am - 8 ball marathon torny bombed out by the site, when the final had just started. The 9:00 8uk torny, which I was looking forward to playing in, has also disappeared. This is getting beyond a joke.

Now the 10:00am torny has also bombed.
Thats it I'm logging out - this is a complete waste of my time.

However I cancelled the 9am and 10am tournaments. Server is currently too unstable and will soon be replaced.

Ok thanks Nick, I know you do a fine job of keeping the site going, and its the best pool site on the net.
Its just frustrating sometimes when you keep getting logged out.

nick any news on changing provider as of yet? i dont believe this current provider is as good as they used to be. standards have slipped or they may struggle with some of the updates you've done. Not too sure.

Restarted on the semi-final stage of the random speed now! After beating topsy and jimfaebod too!
