Great result... but i think the ashes wasn't as good this time round

You guys absolutley blitzed us hands down...except for Perth.

Englands top order batting, pace bowling, spin bowling all worked fantastically well. But the one thing you guys had was consistency.

Aussies on the other hand. No top order batting except from the odd contribution from Shane Watson, no middle order except from Hussey and Haddin, nothing from our two 'best' batsmen in Ponting and Clarke, and inconsistent bowling from Johnson and no specialist spinner for the MCG test.

But the thing that really killed the Aussies was no consistency from the selectors. Xavier Dougherty played alright, then was dumped for a player that had hardly played State Cricket. They droped bowlers without giving them a real chance to prove themselves (Johnson first test an exception)...

I think the selection of sides was the key factor in the series to England...the Australians were simply under too much pressure to perform. You guys only made changes when absolutley required, and you stuck to your plans.

But well done, however the Urn will be making the Kangaroo hop back over Asia very soon

Watched all 25 days, hardly missed a ball.

Not bad considering it didn't start until half 11 at night GMT.
