i just think it is pointless as i dont know them and more that likely will never know them.

It's the same as anyone else getting a run out in my opinion, you either take note of it or you don't, doesn't really matter who it is.

I do think it's good for guests to get announcements etc to help encourage people to get "into" the site and hopefully sign up, but no harm in members turning them off if they so desire.

A announcement should be made for anyone irrespective of being a "guest" or not. Guests should be treated with the same respect of a member!

I cannot see what all the fuss is regarding announcements as as been previously mentioned, doesnt really bother me and probably the majority of members on here.

let them play in tourneys then... ive logged on as a guest when my acount was getting sorted and i missed a tourney that i liked because i was signed in to a guest
