I am trying to insert a picture into my profile using the IMG tab and am having a few problems.

My profile just has the broken link icon in the "About me" section (click my profile to see what i mean.

Are there any restrictions on the size and dimensions of the image you can link to?

Also, it is a facebook pic I am trying to link to, could this be my problem?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

upload a picture on ...... http://www.imageshack.us/ (Don't need to register or anything)

highlight the second link down and copy (labelled "Direct Link")

then go on any thread to bring up your posting box, click on image then paste the link into the little box that comes up and click ok, then copy it from your posting box and paste in into your profile bit

Or if your taking a picture from facebook don't bother with imageshack all you need to do is

Google Chrome: Right click the picture then click "Open image in new tap"

Opera: Right click the picture then click "Open Image (picturename.jpg)

Internet Explorer: Right click on picture the click "Show Picture" however it don't work with facebook or click "Properties" not "Show Picture" and copy and paste the link on "Address: (URL)" big links will most likely have half the link missing but left click and hold at the start of the link (http://) then moving your mouse down will show the rest.

Other browsers i don't have

Firefox: Right-click the image, then click "show image"

for selecting the address just click anywhere in the address then hold Ctrl and press A(select all)
then still holding Ctrl press C(copy) or X(cut)
then click image button on here and hold Ctrl and press V(paste)

you can then just copy/cut it and paste into your profile
