This has happened now 3 times in a row - won the game, game screen shows that I have won but i receive a network error which then goes down as a loss!!!

simple way of this is getting a better connection. Sit with your screen up against the modem if you have to

I reckon it's just a pure coincidence, not anything to do with the gameplay at all.

Best thing to try out is to have a google ping test running whilst playing and see what happens there.

The game server gives you 90secs from when your connection goes to when the game kicks you out, but if it is your shot when the connection goes, it still plays on your screen but the data isn't sent to server so if you win game on your screen but your connection is in that 90sec window and then get kicked then the server won't know you won and default win is awarded to your opponent.

What pinky said - with huge likelyhood, your connection has gone down during the last part of your game - allowing you to apparently finish the game on your end, but not getting the last few shots sent to the server. From the server point of view - which is the only one that matters - you never finished the game, and therefore lose when you leave the game (when get timed out).

This happens to everyone unfortunately, you will just have to grin and bare it.

I have had this many times where I have finished a game (Won it), but a couple of pots earlier my connection is failing so therefore what I'm doing from that point is not being picked up by the server.

It is unfortunate but you can only question your connection.
