Two tournaments at the same time, in the same game - confused!!

Was going to make thread about this, mines went like this:

TOURNAMENT: 8 Ball UK Speed Tournament has started, good luck!
TOURNAMENT: Round 1 (Race to 1 wins, time limit 8 minutes starting now)
Tournament invites you to play robski v midgett
TOURNAMENT: Please accept this invite. If your opponent logs out or does not join then stay in the game room until indicated otherwise.

A bye and a game in Round 1??

i didnt no which 1 to take

Keeping a close on eye it, definitely the oddest thing I've seen in a while.

RESULT: 8 Ball Pool UK Tournament - midgett (0) loses to robski (1) by a foul on the black
TOURNAMENT: robski knocks out midgett


And i still got knocked out...explain? lol

Somehow two sets of fixtures were generated in Round 1, and invites were sent to both players. However, the first set of fixtures then disappeared after Round 1, while only the results from the second set carried into Round 2.

It was therefore decided that those who had entered the "wrong" game were unfairly eliminated from the tournament. Therefore, it has been cancelled, and a new one created in its place. In fact, it's available to join right now.

Apologies to everyone for any inconvenience

Correction: those who had been lucky with their choice of game in Round 1 then got 2 invites (or 1 or none depending on byes) as the problem repeated itself in Round 2.
