Straight Pool luck break

I've been playing funkypool for a long time now and I was delighted when straight pool was added, as it's my favorite game type, but right now I think it's slightly broken in regards to rewarding players for bad play.

Too many times now I've left an opponent stuck looking at a full rack either on the initial break or when I don't have a shot to break up the cluster after the 14th ball goes in, only to have them slam it into the rack and fluke a ball in. In straight pool this isn't supposed to happen since you're required to call your shots.

Would it be too hard to require the player to call the ball and the pocket before he shoots? I don't know much about programming, but at least having the player call just the ball and not the pocket would erase this problem.

so if you have like 20 seconds to call a ball then a pocket and then aim for your shot and then take it. i think this is a bad idea would be take to long to play a game like that in my oppinion

The game doesn't necessarily need a call shot feature as we feel it would take away the massive fun factor for more of the players, but we will look into any additional features we see fit to add in the future.
