i have one question.

when a user resets there stats is it perhaps unfair that theres no other option but resetting everything?

i think there should be another option where you click a certain stat that you want to reset and keep all the others the same

Generally I'd prefer that resetting stats wasn't available as players incorrectly become newbies and that causes problems with the score. However if it was removed people would recreate accounts. We can't prevent people recreating accounts as it's almost impossible to enforce and there's legitimate reasons to recreate accounts (eg stalkers!).

Therefore, allowing partial resetting of scores have no real benefit IMO. It also would encourage people to try and get the "perfect score" which is something that should be discouraged.

I would have to agree with nick here.

If you are going to reset one stat, then you might as well reset ALL of your stats, just so you can touch up on one specific type of game.

You can look at some players and see that they are professional in all but one game type. I think that the encouragement should be to get them to get to professional with the stats they have, the hard earned way.

If you could pick what you want to reset, then that type of thinking goes out the window, and people will get the easy way out of things.
