I enter the site, log in normal on here and then when press "Play" a few minutes later, it asks me to log-in again, but I am still logged in for the forums.

You are probably timed out on the forums too, but this fact is masked by the "remember ID" option in your profile.

That's one possible explanation anyway

Not timed out on forums, and when I say minutes, I mean like 5 minutes maximum since I log in at the top of this page, go to game window and asks for me to log in again

Session elapsed (this can happen if the previous page was retrieved more than 20 minutes ago)

Had that after being on for only a couple of minutes on the forums. Also had to log in again after a few seconds to get into the game.

OK, these are 2 different things.
- Logging in twice shouldn't occur. Does it happen often? Are you pressing it within 20 minutes of logging in?
- The session elapsed will happen naturally when your session has been recreated (either when you are inactive for more than 20 minutes or log out before returning to a cached page etc). This is to ensure certain security problems can't happen.

I'm logging in within 5 minutes of logging on the site. It's happened to me 3 times, out of about the last 10 log-ins.

By any chance are you closing the main window before the game window has completely loaded?

I keep the main window open always, as I sometimes pop onto the forums while in the game room
