After receiving a number of complaints about tournament invites I reviewed the code and found the following problems.

1) Invite sending did have a problem.
The invite was occasionally sent corrupted. This has been fixed.

2) Playing a non tournament game while waiting could cause invite acceptance to fail
If the game had just started after you accepted the invite it would show you "the game has just started" and will not allow you to leave. Now a tournament invite will always be accepted (I detailed this change in another thread).

3) A number of people left the tournament game too early
A lot of people (especially when new to tournaments) left the game room too early (eg if their opponent didn't turn up or had logged out). If you attempt to leave a tournament game room before the game has commenced it will not allow you. In fact you'll be stuck in the room unless you actually close the game window.

Please let me know if there is a problem.

I've also been told that the break order is incorrect - that will be fixed next time I patch the server.

I like number 3, very good idea but what if you have 2 invites and you click the wrong one

Rule 2 above means accepting a tournament invite will always work - even if you're in another tournament game.

These rules are kind of complicated - but I think they work as you would expect now.

I know what you mean but im on about if you have 2 tournement invites - if you get to the quarter finals of one, finish that game and you have a first round game in another tournement. Then you start to play the first round game but then get an invite for the other tournament your in and want to go to that one?

Lmao yeah dgen your talking cross purposes me thinks. It's not an idea it's where the individual on the left of the invite is given the break. Due to updates this is not so and is now random.

It makes me feel so insecure not knowing!

I think the one thing that is missing however is a re-send of the invite after a bit of time, because the odd time you can click no by accident.

Dame, you have an additional confirm to reject a tournament invite. Do you mean a second invite in case you were logged out?

Thats another good idea for if you log out by an accident or if you get timed out

Another change to help people with tournament invites.

4) Double clicking on your own tournament invite
Some people double clicked on the game room to enter the game instead of the invite - this now pops up a warning that you should use the invite instead of attempting to watch your game.
