Right needless to say before I go into this I'm extremely annoyed.
During today... as I play normal games on my usual internet connection... people have been commented on the fact that for some reason when im playing 20 seconds games, random shot timers have been cutting in early! Sometimes as early as on 12 sec timer noticed by me and players I have been competing against. I have grumbled on throught this, pretty much playing a game of russian roulette with the shot timer!
To top this off now I have just been playing in the 9 ball speed tourni I got up to the semi final on and easy black and then 9 remaining. As people can support I took 2 seconds if that (The timer was still on 8/9 seconds) at which point the game took a random shot and lost me the match! Having now wasted 40 mins of my life playing a game that just screwed me over and has been so throughout the day I am extremely wound up! (I must appreciate and thank my opponant who ignored the fact anything had happened! and went merrily on his way!)
Needless to say I've never been so greatfull that I have not been engaging in the festivities of the day to much, as after a few more drinks I may now be looking to replace a rather expensive laptop!
Can I assure you before the idea comes back I was not "not responding!" believe me I didnt have a chance to breath let alone not respond!
Any reply on this problem would be greatly appreciated before i start pulling my hair out in annoyance!!!!!

Yeah i played her throughout the day and noticed this on her shots, and the way it happened in the semi final was cruel to be honest, and no aknowledgement even from the opponent who sheepishly dissapeered after taking a win they didnt really deserve.
Needs to be looked at as ever since all these changes came in its just one problem after the next, and its not our computers, its this site.

Lol gutted for you Emma.
But to be serious it happened to one of my opponents on 17 seconds a couple of days ago, needless to say i werent too bothered as it gave me carry which i won the game with.
Still unfair on the other person though.

Sounds like a serious glitch
Question: Have anyone actually experienced this on their own end yet (seeing the random get taken before your own shot clock reaches full time), OR have you seen this for your opponents only?

ouch, that's obviously no good at all. Hope Nick gets his eyes on this asap since this effectively breaks the game
Reason I asked whether you saw this on your own shots or on your opponent's shots is that the shot clock for your opponent is often affected by network latency, often making things look weird (like the typical "time has run out long ago, why doesn't he get a random yet?" case we see so often). This is normally in the opposite direction though, randoms happening later than you would expect.
That's why it's important to have data on this from a local perspective - which you clearly have.
Did your computer otherwise lag at all (chuggy graphics, lots of hard disk activity or any other indication of the computer being very busy)? That's just about the only thing I can think of to remotely explain this without there being a serious bug - but a bug sounds more likely at this point.
Have this happened more than once or for others than Emma?
(not putting too much weight on the case Mich saw since that was on his opponent's end)

Well, as bad as it is, it's not a whole lot else the opponent could have done anyway.... Under normal circumstances the game could have been replayed, but since this was a tourny that was clearly not possible.
Be mad at the game if it doesn't work - not players.

Right Emma.....
Nick needs your:
- Java Properties ( http://www.funkypool.com/help#playing_problems )
- Operating System (such as Windows Vista, Windows XP etc)
- Browser (such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc)
He will then hopefully give you some information
