Read few 3 previous threads on similar topics but they are now over 6 months old so can't post on them.

But the idea is so that you can post to several people at the same time, the same message.

This would be good for
1. Clan leaders, to message all members the same message of say the fixtures with 1 simple click instead of C+Ping the message several times to send the same message

2. League runners, sending out fixtures and updates to ALL involved without typing the same message several times

3. Evidence that people have attempted to arrange a fixture so they can send a message to opponent AND league runner. Would help defaults hugely

Yep, people have asked this about 40 times through the history of this site...

Yet I had massive trouble selling this is a significant advantage when it came to the new league forums (where this is not just a given feature, even better, you can both message sets of individually selected users as well as user groups).

Then, all of a sudden, it seemed to be no big deal at all lol.
