lets say i`m waiting on an opponent. i`m practicing and am having a good run in practice. when an opponent arrives in your room the game resets to start a new game. for what ever reason the player leaves. now you need to start a new practice game.
i feel the new player should have to be invited to play before your practice game is reset. thoughts.

What?
If you want an uninterrupted practice, then stay in the chat rooms!
The reason why you stay in the game room is because you want to play a game. If a person doesn't want to play you, then they move on, if he does, then it's a well-interrupted practice
To have an invitation game, set your room to "private" which is invitation only

sm_rat has a point there, while waiting you can use that table to pass the time like me, it should stay the way it is

I agree with sm_rat. If you want to practice without someone coming in and resetting the table, do not create a public game room.

Well, I kinda agree with you all, including the first poster....
Yes, you can easily avoid the problem by creating a private room etc, but the point is should you have to? Is it convenient?
Many times, people create a public room because they want a game. 5 of 6 players entering the room may not choose to play, making it rather impossible to keep a coherent practice session while waiting for the game to happen.
There's basically no need for the game to re-rack when the last player enters the game room. That should be done on the event of a game actually starting.

You know what? You're onto something there. Next time you set up a game, have a look at the rack when someone enters the room.
1) When a player enters, the balls are re-racked.
2) When both players click Yes to a new game, the balls are re-racked again. Why? If this is the functional of the two racking of the balls (the second one always will be, for obvious reasons), the first one is unnecessary (obviously) and can be done away with.
