Someone talked back after being corrected by a moderator. When you are that lame and that stupid, the boot is what you get and what you deserve.

Leave it to a moderator and a former moderator to come back with replies like those. Players insult other players all the damn time, no one ever sees them get booted, and don't give me that "oh if you have a problem use contact us" line. I wish there was a smiley with a kissy face and a butt so I could use it to describe those two replies.

....when mods arent around, when they are they DO get warned, booted or banned.

if a mod isnt around all you have to do is report them and it can be dealt with, what happens quite a lot is someone would rather just insult them back

The problem isn't the mod getting insulted or having their feelings hurt. They deserve (and receive) no more padding in that regard than any other user.

The problem is players not taking instructions without putting up an argument (which makes it perfectly warranted to boot the player)

I agree the message could been worded more precisely, but the bottom line is don't talk back when being given instructions by staff.

This isn't really going anywhere.
