When trying for a golden break. If a solid or stripe goes in then the black goes in. Does this still count for a golden break? Same for 9 ball and 8 ball uk.

It does indeed.
As long as the black/9ball goes in and the white doesn't, then any other potted ball still makes it legal

Actually didn't know that.
GBs are a bit on the "funky" side in the first place, but clearly different rules for that all together then, since potting another ball on the same shot as the black would normally be a foul.

Yeah, but also potting the black with other balls (well both colours in this case) is a foul except on the break, where it wins you the game.
