It's a bit late

Anyway, Federer and Nadal are in the latter stages of the men's draw. The women's side of the draw sees two Belgian players, something completely unexpected and that hasn't happened since the dominance of Justin Henin and Kim Clijsters.

Kim's comeback has been fantastic, and now she faces a very difficult match against Serena Williams. Meanwhile, the other Belgian hopeful is Yanina Wickmayer. Yan is only 19, and had only made the 2nd round before in a Grand Slam, so this has been an amazing experience for her. She faces a tough challenge against Caroline Wozniacki in the semis.

Allez Kim et Yanina, pour Belgique!

Andy Murray played poor against Marian Cilic and got knocked out in straight sets in round 4.

Meanwhile, Laura Robson and Heather Watson are in the semis of the girls where British number 1, Heather Watson faces Noppawan Lertcheewakarn, the player who beat Robson in the final of the Australian Open.

Laura Robson faces American Lauren Davis in the semis. So maybe Laura will be where Wickmayer is now in a few years time

It's possible

I hope this is the start of a great career for Yan. Making the semis (and hopefully the final) will do wonders for her seeding (currently 50), and hopefully she can continue to improve and show that she isn't a one tournament wonder.

Watson has a tough match. Lertcheewakarn won the Wimbledon girls singles title and the girls' doubles title.

Great to see Kim in the final, although in odd circumstances as Serena's anger lost her the match.

However, it's a shame for Wickmayer, who fell to a 6-3 6-3 defeat to Wozniacki. A great run sadly ended in the semis, but well done to her, and hopefully it's just the start of a great career.

Serena's always gonna blame something else for her loss, it's either injury or temper ALWAYS. She never gives her opponents any respect. Glad to see her out of the tournament.

What a comeback for Kim Clijsters. Just sublime.

To play in your first Grand Slam in two years, knocking out both Williams sisters on the way, and actually winning the thing is just amazing. This is possibly the best Grand Slam title of Kim's life.

Kim, Belgium are proud of you! Allez Clijsters!

Who cares about Clijsters

Heather Watson won the girls tournament, so we have TWO young Brits coming through on the women's side, about time too

Everyone cares about Clijsters

Who cares about Watson?

Well done to both of them anyway, I'll post a list of winners later if I can be bothered.

Great win for Del Potro as well. Well done to him

More good news for yoda, Justine Henin is set to make a comeback, her reason is to try and win her maiden Wimbledon title.
