In world rules if you are snookered you can say "total" or "full ball" and you dont have to hit a cushion after you hit the ball. Could this be brought into 8 Ball US, where if you are snookered there is a "total snookered" button that you an press so you dont have to hit a cushion after you hit your own ball.

Any thoughts???

8US rules are 8US rules and Snooker rules are Snooker rules...

You just have to play to the rules that have been set I guess

What's to stop people simply pressing it when they aint snookered so they can just lay up to one of their balls?

It's fairly easy physics to implement this as an automatic feature, no button needed.

Total or full ball applies to 8ball Uk.. due not having to hit a cushion in FP Rules this rule dosen apply to our game

Partly because of the work it would give nick to implement and partly because I think funkypool benefits from being all that makes it funky (golden breaks anyone?), I'd say no to the idea. But my opinion is worth about 0.0001% when it comes to making a decision about the site - everyone else might love it anyway!

i play those rules all the time they apply to the 8 ball uk game. However therule comes with a burden as in the world rules you need to hit a cushion aftere every shot unless a pot is made this is were the whole total snooker idea comes in
