Wow! Have you had problems with this?

Your 885 and you can only choose 800-1000...

Well, with this new idea that problem can stop!

The idea is choose your own ranking game as you can only have 500 - 1000, 600 - 800, 650 - 850, 700 - 900, 750- 950, 800 - 1000. Well if we have a number selector, you can choose your certain ranks you want to play against.

For example in 9ball I am 873 I could chose 871 - 921.

This would be simple and very effective in many different ways...

However, there some rules to this.

Each ranking you choose must be a gap of 50 points.

And the ranks you choose you have to be inside them.

deffo like it m8 - had a problem with this on snooker recently - had ranking of 890 and only wanted to play players of 870 and above......

could only select 800 to 1000 and rename the room......

I feel it is ignorant if a player comes to play you and you decide not to play, so I played a few 840's and 850's which as you know are very competent players however if it takes too many points off your rankings....

I was winning matches 5 - 3, 6 - 3 etc etc yet ranking was still going down by 5-6 points....

I like that idea. I was 852 in 9Ball and I created a game and I thought there was a 850+ one and as I was making it the best I could get was 800-1000. Should be very effective to the game.

If you were consistently good and thoroughly wanted to earn your rank then you wouldn't mind who you play...?

Also, ive had a problem when wanting to play UK ranked games that not a lot of people are online who's around the same rank as me so narrowing it down then shortens the possible number of players who u can face... even then they may be wanting to play another game type. It'd be better to pm someone around the same rank as you and ask for a few games

it is definatly a good idea mate.

only problem which would most likely arise is the fact that if you are in the late 800s ranks, you may wait longer for an opponent around the same rank.

the idea for choosing the rank required to join the room is a good idea which many would agree but would most likely increase waiting times
