This thread is about killer, I feel that Im losing alot on it. For example, I went in with a game npinson janmb were both in there, I lost 4 points!
Oh well, not a huge complaint, just might want to change them.

So your saying you should lose less points in a 10 man game compared to a 3 man game?

Try not losing then
4 is a reasonable loss.

Yes, simply because you have a better chance on 3 man than 10 man.

Keep in mind that your loss is calculated ONLY against the winner of the game. If whoever wins the game has a bad rank, you lose a lot. If the winner has a great rank or a high newbie factor, you lose less.
When a game of killer is finished, the ranks are calculated as 9 completely independent matches, matching the winner up against each loser. Who the other losers are makes no difference.

The amount of your points loss depends entirely on the rank of the winner. The way it works is if 10 players A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I and J play and A to I get eliminated in that order with J winning, the first thing that will happen is J's and A's scores will get modified (with J gaining and A losing), then J and B, and so on to J and I. Therefore, J will suck points from all the rest of them. The rest of them, however, will only be reduced once, and that reduction is based on J's rank.
If you want to ensure a low points loss when losing, make sure you play high-ranked players. On the other hand, if you win, you'll gain lots.
