I know I can be judged as cyanical given recent "celebrities" passing on, but today a true hero left us.

Of course many will never have heard of him, fewer will have met him, but he is the last of those who, for many of us, made sure we are free to have fun like this..

any man who fights for his country is a patriot and is worthy of my respect.

That was henry allingham not harry patch, at the time the oldest veteran. Sadly they both leave us within a week.
