Does any of these ideas even get thought of or read because i aint saw much changed and admins looking up these ideas or replying to them

As far as am aware, Nicks always making changes for the better after posting an idea and asking for feedback...or reading threads and answering if other peoples idea's can be implemented or not.

I'm pretty sure they get read, maybe its just the crap idea's dont get a response lol :D

To be honest I think Nick's had a lot on at the minute creating the whole new site he will be back he always is

I think what some may not notice is the minor little changes that happen from time to time.

I am sure that ideas are being looked at and noted everyday.

It may also be helpful for nick not to say "we will do this" just in case something happens that prevents it from being done, disappointing the crowd.

and its really not possible in fairness to implement every idea suggested on here. some ideas have been if nick thinks they are of benefit to FP as a whole

That was my idea.

So yes, the ideas on here do get listened to.

^^ Exactly, rank selection was first proposed back on poolsharks and it took around 5 years to be implimented, but all ideas are listened to.

I think what happens from time to time is that some ideas *seem* to be implimented almost immediately to new users, who don't realise they have possibly been discussed for years prior.

Also, tweaks to big updates also happen quickly, as do bug fixes.

It doesnt seem that long ago that people were asking for US pool, automated tournaments and snooker - i bet quite a few posting here now kinda take those for granted!

From before we were restricted on game times.. I still want the 5 second option and am sure it will come eventually!

Slightly off topic but i remember when you typed in your own time and not from a drop down box, would be nice to see that back.

I was going to create a whole new thread regarding the general posting behaviour of the majority of users across this forum, asking why some people still have their posting rights when they blatantly contradict the set of guidelines set out in the forum rules (which they have never read). In particular the ones regarding correct use of English and text speak.

However, during a heated argument with a mod I was told the old chestnut

"If you hvae any concerns, please go through "contact us"." (Note the shoddy spelling)

and further

"Creating a thread in the forum will not help your cause whatsoever"

Now, I have no intention of contacting admin since after 3 days I'll be told "your suggestion will be taken into consideration" or whatever their latest default phrase is. I'm just annoyed that I get into trouble for doing the moderators job (free of charge ) while they use their "Sit On The Fence Book of Phrases" whenever a relevant point is raised.

speaking of mods, 4 times in the last two days i have sat in the members bar and watching people fire insults back and forth at each other and use dreadful language and make very offensive comments, what shall i do i think to myself, i know il click "find a mod", and ask one to join the room, none to be found anywhere.
