May have been suggested before...oh well.

On sites like Facebook, Myspace ect, you can sort your friends into different groups and things like that.

So I think it would work quite good on here.

Its good for example you are running a clan - have all of the clan members in one group. And then if you run a league - have the league members in there.

And then at the same time maybe we could choose if we want to publicly show our friends list or not??

And if friends are grouped up - it would be handy for people like me who runs (now HELPS to run) a clan, to send out a mass message without having to send it 10 times over and over again.

He used it as a example not saying that he wants it to be exactly like Facebook.

i dont think he is saying turn it into facebook, the friends list is a good idea!

yes, im not the biggest fan of facebook

but on faacebook, its easier to narrow your friend search down to say your Umpiring friends ect to send out a mass message.

its not to make it like facebook - i would have siggested this even if facebook was never invented

I can read... grouping friends making them visable is making it like facebook/myspace correct me if I'm wrong? Just real pointless in my opinion.

Group messaging for clans would be worth trying though.

The fact that one of the top social networking sites uses grouped friends obviously suggests it works.

Just because one suggestion may seem a little 'facebooky' doesn't mean people want the site to be like facebook.

They just want it to be more efficient and easier to use.
