I think that on funkypool, players should be able to edit their status. For example

Cuegod is away. Reason: Getting some more chiplets.

or

Cuegod is busy. Reason: Doing homework.

I think it should be both in-game and on main page. Except in-game the away status should be called 'BRB' and busy should be 'BUSY', and maybe some other useful statuses

something like 'away from computer' like the mods use would be handy though.

Suppose right now you could create a private room called away from computer and it would have the same effect until you were logged out.

This way, it won't seem odd when a user suddenly disappears from clan matches for 2 or 3 weeks

If you are away, why not just click off the game and then click back on once done?

Because that would be too hard for the simpletons on here...

Only problem there is if you are away and you don't want to log out because of a tournament.

Well, what if you miss the invite when you are away?

I would just create a private room or sit in the chat room for a bit, I'm sure if you get any PM's they can wait.

If you miss the invite, you miss it. At least staying online gives you the chance of receiving it, whereas logging off gives you no chance.
