Hi I thought of an idea, that instead of the bootings we have on this game, we could have mutings. This idea is for lor lost of game like runescape one of the worlds most successful games.

Unfortunately when the bootings occur it really doesnt give an impact to the players time on here.
Theyll think oh lets do it again I was only booted for 25 minutes, so why not?

Yes I see that if you get booted so and so time you will get banned, but if you were muted for a week lets say these occurences probably wouldnt happen.

1. do you mean just like a boot only longer (as a middle road between a boot and a ban), or

2. do you mean leaving the player able to use the game but not type in chat?

it would have to depend on what they were banned for though, wouldn't it!

I think it's pretty evident that we're talking about those who get booted for writing bad things in chat here.

And I agree that this might be a good solution since it could be used a lot more and with a lower threshold than what is the case for a ban.
