Now they aren't exactly low or dwindling, but the possibility of increasing the amount of players should always be a thing that should be looked to improved.

At the minute while on the game the only thing that shows the players that there is registration for a tournament is the notices on the chat board, which appear ten mins before the start of the tournament and then two mins prior to the start of it accompanied by a beep. This is easily not picked up on or lost in amongst chat etc. Either way problematic.

What i'd like to propose would be a button that appears on the applet (game screen) when registration for a tournament opens and then disappears when the tournament starts.

This will inturn, hopefully, raise the entrants for tournaments if even slightly, also make it slightly easier to enter tournaments.

Interesting... I doubt it will be prioritised though. As it is, I figure that those who are truly interested in a tourney will go out of their way to click the link and join the tourney when it appears in the chat box and they hear the BOING!!!!! But I can see a lot of merit in the idea. A button would be there for the 10 minutes and anyone who wanted to could press it without having to scroll all the way back up or wait for the 2-minute warning. Course, they can always join via the main page.

You know that you can join a tourni first 10 minutes every hour (except 9 o'clock ?? ).

For me it would be nice when the funkypool clock synchonize with an internet time server.
At the moment funkypool is 5 minutes out of sync.

But a button would also be nice.
Or an invite (with preferences in option menu).

the button sounds good to me, i cant believe the ammount of pms i get asking when the next torny is due to start,
is this just players being lazy or to busy to notice the link when it comes up on screen .

lazy - probably, especially when they can view tourney info (and join) on the main page
too busy - probably, and then too lazy to scroll up to look for a link

It usually goes back to being in sync with the Internet when the funkypool server is restarted (like a big update). Over time, it goes out of sync, like right now where it is five minutes off. Next time there is a restart, it should be back to normal

Decent idea, not really any negatives to it.
