Ive now had this problem for about a week. My internet is sooo slow. I did an adsl speed test and its about 0.08 mbit (twice the speed of dial up!!)

Ive tried another pc, another modem, even another filter and with the same results. So what can i do to solve the problem?!? Please help!

Have you rung you nternet provider up?

try taking out your power cable from both your braodband and router boxes, some say leave them out for 20 seconds, but if you're having big problems I'd say an hour, it gets rid of all the rubbish thats stored in your connection and should solve the problem

Delete cookies history etc, defrag the comp while your at it,and for fun run a anti virus just to double check that its not a virus of some sort latched onto your browser..

The same happened to me before i had and ad that kept coming up even of i blocked pop-ups..

Yep, sounds like a good plan keoghz.

Basically.. clear out the system, a computer can become like a blocked pipe you just need to empty the crap out.

If the problem persists, give your ISP (Internet service provider) a ring and they 'should' send out an engineer to lend a helping hand.
