Hey i had a party last night and this morning i got up to play funkypool this morning and when i hit the white with what i thought was the correct speed for the ball to pot, it didn't Evan get half way. My first thoughts was that the bottom of my mouse may have been sticky due to a spil of beer or something, so i give it a good wipe and no change! so then i changed the mouse to a spare that i had and no difference anyone experienced the same? or is it just me?

Maybe your Windows mouse sensitivity was changed by someone or some programme.

Does it move round the screen at the same speed? If it does, try control panel, mouse, pointer options and play around with the pointer speed (assuming XP).

And be careful not to spill any more "beer".

There is also an option in the Funkypool game options called "Alternative cue control" I believe. It allows for lighter shots; that's a poor explanation but maybe that's the problem for you. Dabble with it and see what effect it has.
