No Sound. where can i start to look ?

Can some one help me to get the sound back.
Its not on mute,
dont know what happened, but where would the best place be to start,
Just remember, i do not know a lot about computers.

You can try going in your control panel and viewing your speaker settings to see if anything has been changed to disable your sound.

Another thing that may be handy to do is restore your computer since you started getting no sound, as this may change the settings back to how they were.

If that fails you may want to check that your drivers are all up to date and if not you can download the latest drivers off the internet for your speaker model.

shouldnt need to update drivers.......speakers generally plug in and play rather than install them.....had mine on for 5 years and no probs once i set it up

Unless your speakers came with a CD you should be fine, I've never seen speakers sold with software but you never know!

I'm sure the settings have just been changed my accident and can be easily changed back within a flick

Yeah, very few speakers use custom drivers.


1: Is your sound missing only for funkypool or other applications as well?

2: Make sure sound is enabled in the funkypool options dialog.

3: Reboot

4: Make sure you run only funkypool (no other applications trying to use the sound device at the same time). This of course should be unecessary, but it's a problem that does pop up on some systems now and then.

Still no luck.
Speaker built in the screen, it give a bleep when switched on, but nothing after.
will just have to leave it this way.
