Just seen a 8ball game where the black was over the pocket with a cluster of balls over the pocket, neither player wanted to touch the cluster otherwise they would lose the game.

Any chance of getting re-racks for them situations as if either player hits their ball in the cluster, they lose the game, so neither do it and keep fouling which would result in double DQ in tournies, in speed tournies, hit the cluster and you're out

It would obviously require both players to agree (both press a button)

A DQ-DQ may still occur due to the fact the game has to be restarted, using up more time.

But considering that this sort of stalemate doesn't happen all that often (in my experience anyway) I suppose having less time to finish is better than both players delibrately fouling.

A double agreed re-rack would been nice. I have a hard time seeing how that could be exploited.

I suggested this ages ago. Still think its a great idea, certain situations offer no alternative but a re-rack
