Well, i'm thinking about getting one or the other...which is better??

I've got GH 3 and World Tour and it's very down to personal opinion I think.

World tour is easier... About 10 times easier than GH3, but World Tour is more band orientated than just guitar.

GH3, is harder, but it allows you to use the standard xbox controller instead of the guitar controller for easier gameplay. The songs on GH3 are waaaaaaaaaaay better as well, but World Tour comes with more songs overall.

Have never played 1 or 2, so can't give you an opinion on those...

Personally, I prefer Rock Band, mainly for the difference in drums.

The GH drums are too complicated, and two of my friends have them, each complaining that they break too easily.

(Could just be them playing badly though )

Whereas one other of my friends has the Rock Band 1 Drums, they're easier to play, as there's only 4 drum pads, and Rock Band 1 has a much better song list than GHWT.

(But I guess that's personal opinion too.)

Not sure about RB 2 as I've not played it.

I also prefer the RB Guitar over the GH ones, although I do own GH2+3 (Guitar Only) but I bought those before Rock Band came out.

I would recommend Rock Band, but only as I enjoyed it more then GH when playing it with friends.
