I think the title says it all...but just in case.

Clan and League administrators (like myself) would see the benifits of being able to forward on messages that you recieve.

Yes, you can copy and paste, but sometimes there are things like pictures, bold, italics and underlinings that are not picked up by just copying and pasting.

So if we had the ability to forward on messages, it saves copy/pasting and having to format the text again for underlines, italics etc - as well as pictures.

Is it easy enough to implement?

Also Players Can change the message when copy and pasting

Shouldn't be too hard to implement, it's only really a matter of adding the features you need in order to select the next recipient....

The better question is the risk evaluation of this making people forward accidentally or to the wrong recipient tho.

same as sending a new message to the wrong person wouldnt it??

but we forward emails everyday, so its always a risk that the wrong person may get their hands on a forwarded message - but if your careful, it will be fine.

It's even more important to avoid when forwarding, since the content belongs to someone else and isn't written by yourself.

Any ideas on how it would actually be implemented? Essentially your address book is the entire membership of funkypool, so it's not like you could have a drop-down list or similar.

Make a cached list per user consisting of everyone you have received from and sent to, and use a scrolled list to pick from those. Also a text input similar to the one in the left menu, where you can enter the name directly.

Or.... upgrade to a free, standard forum like phpbb3 or similar

Clearly impossible to migrate from this custom system to a new one tho, so would lose a lot of history.

And/or, indeed, your friend list.

yes, it can be a pain in the bum to send 10 messages out for a clan then 10 minutes later having to send another 15 out for a league - but one step at a time would be better I think
