At midnight (UK time) we drop all the ranks by a very small amount (called the daily reduction). It just happens between those 2 results the drop occurred.

RANKINGS: _payback_ 814.5 (+4.4), cvet0 841.0 (-4.3)

In other words, cvet0, after you went down to 841.0, your rank got reduced further by 0.3 to 840.7 due to the daily reduction, before the next game got finished. Then you bounced back up to 843.7. Well spotted though!
In your example, _payback_ also got his rank reduced with a 0.2 reduction: 814.5 - 0.2 (daily reduction) - 2.9 (defeat) = 811.4.

I thought daily reductions didn't occur if you were logged in before midnight and played games through midnight, or is this a new thing?!
