ya thats a factor, but it always helps to have a bit of an angle that u can work off! straight shot (unless its against the rail) are sometimes the most difficult shots to make!

bastilha is the best player overall without a doubt.
After the reshuffle of the overall ranking system I and a few others imagined hitting 900 overall again would be impossible......he proved us wrong very quickly

It's a JavaScript game. Anybody can beat anybody on any given day, all it takes is hand eye-coordination and a bit of luck. There isn't enough people who've played people in their 'peaks' or as a generalisation; regular enough to make an accurate judgement of who's the overall best. If it goes down on opinion of who you think would be the best should it be possible to judge, well, I'd say Nick. He knows the game better than anyone and if, like I say, on his day a judgement is made on who's the best and he turns up... well, there you go.

I've played this game for long enough to make a good judgement on who I think is best (at least in the US games, not too fussed about UK). I've played guys who have won loads of tournaments and guys who have high ranks on enough occasions to see who is consistently good and who has there off days. As a guide my records against 3 of the best on here (since I stuck them on my "friend (track these guys down for points) list") are

54-76 bastilha
70-73 ladysapphire
57-90 rollout/ucyforit

As you can see I'm getting regularly pummeled by these guys . I'd also stick smithbit, nickh87 and ex_champ as people who are amazing on their day.

Likewise, I've played this game too long and I have only been whitewashed 10-0 once.. and that was against sharp7 this guy is machine on his day.

As for overall i'd have to say....

Yes that could be posible but is he that good look at your stats ,i dont thnik u should lose that bad maybe he was lucky or you were really off or maybe ur righte he really is that good

Na nick- luke is spot on. sharp7 on his day (which was 6/7 days) would give bastilha a very good set of games.

Id go as far to say id pay to watch them play a race to 10 Sharp was the original android, bastilha is his twin brother

I think there are a few people capable of getting 900 overall - I for one would give it a bash if I had more time, and my laptop back . Bastilha went through a phase where he was on literally every day, almost all day, and fair dues to him, he got there. But I still think the likes of _marc_ and ex_champ could get there if they had as much time and committment to ranks on their hands

In my opinion its impossible to say whos best as anyone can have a good or a bad day....also ive seen 100s of threads exactly the same as this in the past and i'd have to say at least 30 people probably more deserve a mention as ive played them all before...

i think it would be good to say that ex_champ and ladysapphire are one of the best but there is others like walker666 skyfly (meany but good) but ill soon be over to pumble them 4 with out a doubt XD im coming for you guys and lady
