Great ending. Not his best, but still great!
As you say, extremely brave to take Taylor in his own back yard - not many boxers will do that, especially when they don't need to.
Look forward to the next installment!

Totally Agree, Roy Jones Jr, wanted to fight joe a while back (yes in his prime) Joe's answer. No. Fights him towards the end of his boxing carrer and its all ''what a class act'' ''amazing boxer'' Dont get me wrong he's a good boxer, but things he could of done to make him great.

Let's not forget he pretty much hand picked his own opponents and didn't fight a top fighter in their prime, but you can't argue with the record. He'll be known as a great in Britain, but that's about it.

Hatton floored in the 2nd round ! Not good, especially when you consider it was in his favoured weight division where he had never lost.
I expect him to retire now. He will go down as a British legend, just sadly could not make the step up to "hall of fame" level.
I can't wait for the Mayweather vs Pacman fight, it will be the fight of the century
Does anyone mind if the thread title is changed to a general boxing thread?

Yeah took him a while to come around as well, he was outclassed from the first punch. The first knock down was a mix of a good punch and off balance but not taking anything away from pacman he was excellent. I agree with sporting mayweather vs pacman will be an amazing fight with imo mayweather winning on points.
Hatton to retire...

i agree with u both, i just don't think hatton has the ability to mix with the best. His guard was far to low and he was walking into punches a very poor way of boxing. I dont think Hatton should retire tho just needs to work on his technical side!!
iff mayweather does come against pacman i think it'll be a great fight but for me mayweather will be 2 strong....i'm shore a good argument could be made against that tho!
